In most cases, road safaris use closed 4×4 Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs for comfort and long-distance travel. Fly-in safaris use open-sided Land Cruisers, offering a more immersive experience for game viewing.

For safari destinations, the luggage limit is 15kg (33 lbs) per person, including hand luggage. For beach destinations, the limit is 20kg (44 lbs) per person. Soft-sided bags are recommended as most aircraft are small.
